Maceo Parker, perhaps best known as the second-in-command to the legendary James Brown, helped define funk from its origins. A long-venerated saxophone master, he steps into the spotlight, playing and singing music he recorded with James Brown and classic R&B tunes from his recent salute to Ray Charles.
This event is also available as part of a subscription series.
