Almost an overnight success after the 2006 release of her debut album Cat, Russell has become one of the top jazz, blues, and swing singers around, best known for breathing new life and emotional depth into a variety of swing-era classics, blues tunes, and jazz ballads. Having recently headlined in The Allen Room, Russell returns to Dizzy’s for these intimate performances, supported by frequent collaborators and independently creative forces Matt Munisteri, Mark Shane, Mark McLean, and Lee Hudson.
