- Educator/bandleader Caleb Chapman is bringing the world-renowned Crescent Super Band to Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola for a performance that is guaranteed (yes, guaranteed) to make you move. Voted “Best Professional Band” in the state of Utah for the past seven years and featuring young musicians who won seven different Downbeat awards last year alone, this ultra-high energy, swinging big band has performed across the globe with David Sanbor, the Dave Matthews Band, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Genesis, Tower of Power, and countless more. For tonight’s show, they play alongside a Jazz at Lincoln Center favorite – multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Wycliffe Gordon.
