Overview

With Tyler Clibbon, tenor saxophone; Waldron Dunkley, trombone; Harrison Diskin, guitar; Frank Zimmerer, piano; Nathan O'Bryant, bass; Gerald Law, drums, with members of the FSU faculty Bill Peterson, FSU Director of Jazz Studies, piano; Leon Anderson, Associate Professor of Jazz Studies, drums; Rodney Jordan, Associate Professor of Jazz Studies, bass

The FSU Jazz Ensemble, comprised of top-level music students and esteemed faculty members, will perform original compositions as well as standards arranged by Director of Jazz Studies Bill Peterson. Associate Professors Leon Anderson--a veteran collaborator with artists such as Ellis Marsalis, Victor Goines, and Marcus Roberts--and Rodney Jordan--known for his work with Melvin Jones, Marcus Roberts, and René Marie--round out the ensemble and perform alongside this select group of students.
