For the last quarter of the 20th century, Eddie Daniels was universally acclaimed as the best clarinet player of the time. Since the century’s end, Daniels has periodically returned to New York to play with one of jazz history’s most underrated pianists, Roger Kellaway. Though he’ll always be etched into American culture as the composer and performer of the theme to the highly rated 70’s television show All In The Family, Kellaway’s contributions to jazz, performing with the likes of Sonny Rollins, Clark Terry, Sonny Stitt, and others, should be revered too.
