Hear these hour long programs, hosted by Wynton Marsalis, below. Listen to Essentially Ellington on Sirius XM from December 2011-January 2012 Part One - features interviews with former Associate Director of Education Joanna Massey and members from the winning band in 2011, Dillard Center for the Arts. You’ll also hear from Dillard’s band director Chris Dorsey as well as music from their winning performance. Part Two - features interviews with Joanna Massey, the director and students from East St. Louis High School’s band, EE favorite Ronald Carter plus music from East St. Louis’ EE performance.
