Welcome to Jazz at Lincoln Center Education!  Our mission is to engage listeners, performers, and educators of every age with a continuum of experiences in appreciation and performance that reflect the virtuosity, creativity, and inclusive spirit of jazz.

Each year, JALC Education programs reach over 50,000 participants through direct instruction and over another 30,000 indirectly with our curricula and print music library. Millions have access to our 5 interactive websites.

JALC produces 20 education programs and resources that fall within four audience categories - Students and Teachers, Kids and Families, Adults and Online Learners. These programs can focus on teaching 9 month-5 year olds and their parents about the styles of jazz with WeBop!® to one-on-one interview with jazz artists at our Listening Parties to a jam session with high school students from across the country and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra members at the annual Essentially Ellington Competition & Festival. Our resources give band directors an inside look at Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra rehearsals, insight into linking American History with the history of jazz music and a library a high quality arrangements for jazz ensembles of all ages and abilities.

Take a look around and see which programs are right for you!
