Bandleader and composer Paquito D'Rivera is our guide on a tour of the composers of his Cuban homeland — Mario Bauza, Arturo 'Chico' O'Farrill, Ernesto Duarte and more. He brings a Latin percussion section — Horacio Hernandez (drums), Richard Padron (guitar) and Pedro Martinez (percussion) — to add the five-beat rhythm to the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
