Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola November 2018 Lineup Announced
New York, NY (September 24, 2018) - Notable performances in Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in the month of November include the release party for Myra Melford’s Snowy Egret’s long-awaited album The Other Side of Air (November 7-8); a unique two-part evening for the Israeli Jazz Celebration with Tali Rubinstein Mémoire and Uri Gurvich Quartet (November 14); the Terry Waldo Sextet’s tribute to the “King of Ragtime” pianist and composer Scott Joplin (November 26, what would have been Joplin’s 150th birthday); and the return of Ellis Marsalis Quintet (November 15-18) on the occasion of the NEA Jazz Master pianist’s 84th birthday celebration. Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola July 2018 Lineup Announced
New York, NY (May 31, 2018) - Performances at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in July celebrate jazz’s most influential artists and outstanding members of the jazz community during the three-night Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame Festival. On International Jazz Appreciation Day, Jazz at Lincoln Center announced the 2018 Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame class of inductees - Jimmie Blanton, Nat “King” Cole, and Nina Simone. The legacy of each inductee, selected by public vote, will be celebrated at curated sets on July 17-19, 2018 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. The festival kicks off with a tribute to Jimmie Blanton (July 17); followed by Shenel Johns and Vuyo Sotashe with special guests honoring the timeless stylings of Nina Simone (July 18); and the Freddy Cole Quartet celebrating the incandescent voice of Freddy’s brother, Nat “King” Cole (July 19).

Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola's Generations in Jazz Festival Lineup Announced, August 30-October 7
New York, NY (July 26, 2018) - September marks the return of Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola’s ninth annual Generations in Jazz Festival. The Festival kicks off with Camille Thurman with the Darrell Green Trio on August 30, 2018, and closes out with Willie Jones III Quintet from October 4�“7, 2018. This year marks one of the longest runs for the Festival, featuring 179 artists across generations with 34 unique programs over 39 nights.

New York, NY (November 20, 2018) - Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis spreads good cheer this holiday season as the world renowned jazz orchestra and guest vocaists Vuyo Sotashe and Veronica Swift perform Big Band Holidays throughout the U.S. The 14-city U.S. tour embarks in Ann Arbor, MI on November 28. The Big Band Holidays tour takes the band through Texas, and the Southeast then concludes with a 5-date homecoming engagement at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Fredrick P. Rose Hall’s Rose Theater on December 19-23. The performance on Sunday, December 23 at 2pm, will be a Relaxed Performance, designed to provide an opportunity for children or adults with autism, learning difficulties, or other sensory and communication needs to enjoy our performances with their families in a more relaxed environment.
