Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis presents Our Love is Here To Stay: The George Gershwin Songbook on January 28-30, 2016 at 8pm in Rose Theater, located in Frederick P. New York, NY (January 31, 2017) - Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola continues to showcase veterans as well as up-and-coming talent, celebrate jazz pioneers and encourage new collaborations. Performance highlights in March include appearances by DIVA Jazz Orchestra; saxophonist Claire Daly; vocalist Tynan Davis; the Ted Nash Quintet featuring Warren Wolf, Gary Versace, Rufus Reid, and Matt Wilson; pianist Myra Melford; the appropriately named MVP Jazz Quartet including Donald Brown, Ray Drummond, Marvin Smith, and Bobby Watson; Person2Person featuring Houston Person and Eric Person; and pianist and composer Michele Rosewoman.

A Visit to Clark Terry

On December 7, 2014 the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra drove 8 hours on an off day to play for Clark Terry on his 94th birthday. Victor Goines, James Chirillo, Ted Nash, Vincent Gardner, and Walter Blanding recall the day and the impact that Clark had on jazz.
