2019 Jazz Congress: 42 Speakers and 30 Panels Announced
New York, NY (October 30, 2018) - Jazz at Lincoln Center and JazzTimes announces 42 speakers and 30 panels will be featured at the 2019 Jazz Congress conference on January 7-8, 2019. Jazz Congress will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, located on Broadway at 60th Street, New York, New York.

Dizzy’s Club January 2019 Lineup Announced
New York, NY (December 10, 2018) - Dizzy’s Club kicks off the new year with a stellar lineup showcasing the next generation of jazz stars as well as the music’s most respected artists. Featured performers for the month include trumpeter/vocalist Jumaane Smith (January 3) sharing reimagined renditions of classics by Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, and Louis Jordan; alto saxophonist Patrick Bartley (January 4) celebrating the music of Cannonball Adderley; Christian Sands (January 5-6) presenting two original programs, first with the Christian Sands Quartet and then with the High Wire Trio showcasing the music of Erroll Garner; Ben Paterson, Rina Yamazaki, and Isaiah J. Thompson (January 14)- the winners of the 2018 Ellis Marsalis International Jazz Piano Competition; the Oberlin Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble with guest pianist Sullivan Fortner (January 16); vocalist Tatiana Eva-Marie (January 22) celebrating the iconic Django Reinhardt and his brand of hot jazz; and Shenel Johns (January 30) honoring American icons Dianne Reeves, Diana Ross, and Dinah Shore, conducted and arranged by David Gibson for 17-piece orchestra.

2020 Jazz Congress Dates Announced
New York, NY (June 17, 2019) - Jazz at Lincoln Center and JazzTimes today announced the dates for the 2020 Jazz Congress, a conference which brings together members of the global jazz community to network, as well as grow the audience for the music. The annual gathering also seeks to nurture businesses and organizations that promote, produce, present, market and support jazz. The third annual Jazz Congress will take place on January 13 & 14, 2020 at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located at Broadway at 60th Street, New York, New York.
